Crusaders Summer Day Camps

The Crusaders Summer Day Camps run all summer long at our beautiful park in east Oakville and are open to both club members and the public. Designed for children aged 4–13, our camps combine active outdoor play, multi-sport fun and age-appropriate rugby in a safe, welcoming environment.

Our goal is simple: give kids a week where they come home tired, happy and full of stories.

We offer two main camp streams:

  • Minis Summer Day Camp (ages 4–11) – a multi-activity camp built around rugby-based games, outdoor play, and fun group activities like science, nature, art and classic camp games. It’s perfect for complete beginners and returning Minis players alike.
  • Sports of All Sorts (ages 9–13) – a multi-sport camp where campers learn the basics of a different sport each day (for example touch football, rugby, ultimate frisbee, soccer, badminton, volleyball, cricket, dodgeball and more), followed by a mini-tournament each afternoon.

All camps run 9:00am–4:00pm, with optional before and after care available, and are led by university?-aged counsellors who are long-time Crusaders players. Many have come through Minis, Youth and Junior rugby at the club and gone on to play at provincial or national levels. They’re fantastic role models and bring great energy, experience and care to the kids.

Parents consistently tell us that these camps are a highlight of their children’s summer:

  • “Both kids loved it. Best camp they’ve been on.”
  • “Good, healthy, active, outdoor play! The coaching was excellent…”
